The early christmas bird gets the worm

So today at lunch, I was talking to Brad while Lillianna made laps around the downstairs. After a minute it was quiet and then I heard Lillianna grunting and sighing. I looked down the hallway, saw what she was up to, and grabbed the camera. She had found her first Christmas present! That's what I get for wrapping it an Elmo or "Melmo" bag. Inside, she found a giant tub of plastic play food. For someone who loves to eat and didn't have any play food yet, Lillianna couldn't have been more excited!

Is this really what I think it is?

"Look Dad, A whole tub of food just sitting in a bag. Help me open it so we can play with it!"

Mmmmm....Waffles and hot dogs and tacos...Oh my!


So after "eating" all that she wanted, Lilliannd decided to play drop the food in the bucket...with her teeth. It really was so funny!

Back and better than ever!

This is Lillianna over a week ago enjoying a brisk morning.

This is Lillianna a few days later when we all had a horrible stomach virus. yuck.

This is Lillianna saying "Ho Ho Ho" when she saw Santa this weekend at a family Christmas party. It was the first time the three of us had left in the house in nearly a week. Boy were we glad to see Santa and super glad to be able to eat Jean Jean's dressing!

This is Lillianna feeling even better yesterday reading the book Pet from the Zoo. It has a flap on every page and I have to brag that all 10 of the flaps are still in the book! That's how much my little book worm loves books!

Merry & Bright

This was Thanksgiving day at the "Country" or the Hunting Camp.

I love how her hair looks in the sunset. We had a wonderful time with family and

Lillianna enjoyed all the wide open spaces to run and run

It's beginning to look alot like Christmas!

I dressed her in some festive Christmas wear to try and snap a cute photos.

The following didn't make the cut for the Christmas card but they are still keepers.

Late October Days

Adventures in the Pumpkin Patch

Hi again!

Surprise!! I'm back! We're back!

Camera is finally fixed and I can finally share Sweet Lillianna's life with you again! Yea!

She is bigger and busier and cuter than ever.

Brad and I are enjoying her so much we just want to eat her.

She's still up to mos tof the same things:

She still loves to eat

She still loves to walk around the driveway and yard. These days her favorite thing is to carry around her golf clubs. Busy busy busy.

She's got alot more hair than the last time most of you saw her.

And she still loves to play with her best friend Mary Bibb. Here you can see them "giving five" to eachother which makes them laugh so hard. What makes them cry is when they hit eachother instead. It is so fun to get them together!

Update take two

More updating to be done....

A couple of weeks ago Lillianna's cousins Ella, Daisy, & Leah came to visit. Here is Ella helping Lillianna put her puzzle together. Ella is very helpful and very, very sweet to her cousin. They are going to be best friends one day!

It has been so beautiful here the past couple of weeks....only in the 80's and with a breeze you really can't beat it! This is during a dinner which we are enjoying in our backyard. I could stare at that smile for hours.

This was taken at the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago when we visited Aunt Courtney, Uncle John Eric & Cousin Napolean last weekend. That is tiny Lillianna's hand next to the replica of a polar bear's paw. We saw two of them and they were both gorgeous and a little scary.

Update....

Camera still isn't fixed but we were able to unload all of our pictures so we can take it in to finally be fixed. Here are some of my favorite pictures of the lat month.

This one will always take me back to the last couple of weeks before our move when we could hardly move around because of all the boxes. Lillianna pushed her way through though.

This is the last swim of the summer with Mary Bibb. They sealed the moment with a kiss...something they do all the time now. how cute!

This is one of the first days in our new hosue. One this particular day (maybe the only day ever) she wanted to keep her hat on...her very special hat that her aunt Lesley and Aunt Ashley made her.
