Babies everywhere

We've been busy this week - sorry I havn't been better about pictures. She is wearing me out moving everywhere all the time. I know most of you are laughing at me because I don't even know what life will be like in a few more months, let alone a few more years.

She's doing so much now and Brad and I are in amazement of her more and more everyday.

The bottome pics are from playgroup yesterday which was great. It's the same four babies we've been with before, all born within a month of eachother. Putt was born a couple of months later and joined us for the first time yesterday. We had a wonderful time.

Who does she look like here? Maybe Brad when I tell him we're out of beer. It's the only good picture of her two little toofers though. sooo cute. Our Doc thinks she should be getting the top two soon. She'll be ready for steak before long.

Some week

Here are the good, the bad, and the ugly highlights:

- Another ear infection

- Refuses to take medicine

- Crawling ANYWHERE & EVERYWHERE

- Pulling up on most anything

- Taking her first big fall resulting in sad bruise on her cheek

- Only truly happy when being held, being outside, or touching a cat or dog

- Waves almost everytime we say "Hi" or "Bye-Bye"

- Pulls on her own hair, especially when hands are covered in baby food

- Sat and happily ate crackers for almost 45 mintues during lunch on my birthday!

- Repeatedly said "Dah-Dih" or "Dih-Dah-Dih" when crawling towards Brad this morning.

I'm am so funny Mom and so are you for trying to get that medicine down my throat

The milk mustache is actually an ice cream/ antibiotic mustache. Still cute.

Lillianna and Boone both eating grass. Only one of them got to swallow it, I promise.

Oh how far our pets have come. They really do deserve awards for becoming patient with Lillianna's very persistent attacks on their fur and body parts. How funny that Lillianna's hand is practically buried in Attie here. That's how hard she pushes on them but she pulls even harder. I know she and Boone will be good friends but I don't think the cats will ever forgive her for this stage.

Can we PLEASE stay out here all day?

Blossoming Babies

These two pictures were taken last September, 8 months ago. Lillianna and Mary Bibb when they were so tiny and couldn't even hold their heads up.

These next three were taken this past week. My how time flys! When Lillianna was first born, I got a little sad and tired of always hearing from others how fast she would grow up. However, I have caught myself thinking the same thing alot recently as she is quickly becoming her own little person. I can't believe all that she is doing now, from feeding herself Cheerios to pitching an arch-backing fit when I change her clothes. She observes everything, doesn't miss a thing, and I know that she is soaking it all in. I love to think about how it's all going to come back out of her - all that she's taking in. What her personality will be, her likes and dislikes, her passions, interests, strengths and weaknesses. These days, she changes so much, I wake up excited to see who Lillianna will be today. I love that feeling.

Naked Jaybird!

So we've had a bit of a diaper rash issue. It's come and gone recently but seemed painful yesterday so Lillianna spent some time naked yesterday. After immediately peeing in the inflatable pool, she sat and watched Baby Einstein on a towel.

This is the naked little one lastnight standing up. It was a big day yesterday with some longer stretches of real crawling, repeated clapping on command, and a few waves with her hand!!! She loves to stand and hold on to things as demonstrated here. I'm sure today it will be something new like her first toe-touch!

Too cute

These are all just cute and show how much Lillianna loves to play and laugh:

Swimming with no water...looks like she's getting her kicking down.

Peek a boo! She is laughing so hard here! Brad kept putting the pillow over her and she'd push it off and just giggle til she got the hiccups.

First (and maybe LAST) time we tried "biter bisquits" It was EVERYWHERE!! She was entertained though and we were entertained with her new look.

Busted!

Everday it is something new with Lillianna. She is exploring, moving, observing, and finding this big world around her each minute of everyday!

I could tell that she was so proud of herself and felt so big sitting on top of the changing table finally seeing what has been in that bucket all this time. Guess it's time to move the medicine.

Big girl!

No, she didn't pull up on the crib...although she's working on it. But once I helped her get there she did stand for atleast 2 mintues proud as she could be. I can't believe she's getting so big!! She is so big that she got to stay a night away from her parents this past weekend. She had a great time with her Aunt Lesley and grandmother Su-Su!

Oh and yes, we're going to move the bed down soon.

Tea for two

Last Thursday Mary Bibb came to our house to play while her Mom was out - it was sort of like having twins. Ok, only for an hour and we had a great time!

"Lillianna that is the funniest joke I've heard all day. Tell it again."

"Mary Bibb, that is my foot. Your foot is over there."

"Lillianna, I think I figured it out!"

"Mary Bibb, I think I found your arm."

"What? We were being good..we promise."
