Aaaaahhhh!

Not Dorothy!

Not our "3 year old - can't get rid of her" goldfish!

Not our "bribe for giving up your pacifier" goldfish!

Not our "once 1 inch long now 6 inch long" goldfish!

Not our "88 cent Walmart goldfish who has needed $20 antibiotics 3 times" goldfish!

Not our beloved Dorothy...

Nope.  Not Dorothy.

We found her like this and while the girls giggled I got worried that this was the end of Ol' Dorth.

We watched, I videoed and snapped a picture.

She was trying to get right side up and then whooop she would flip over and float to the top.

It was so funny and so weird.

I did some Internet research and sure enough - she's either about to die or...

she has gas.  GAS!

A couple of hours later...it was the moment of truth and apparently, she was gas free and right side up.

Whew!  That was a close one.

I love being her Mom.

I had been following Ellenie around all morning.

We were on a hunt to find and take a picture of items starting with each letter of the alaphabet

 to make her very own ABC book.

We were looking at the nest (N for nest) a neighbor had brought over with one complete robin egg.

The whole nest had been blown out of a tree in a recent storm.

Ellenie had been so good about just looking at, not touching, the perfect little egg so we could be sure to show it to La La when she got home from school.

We have been talking alot about eggs and baby birds because of the three nests in our own yard.

I turned my head to look at a passing car and....

crack!  Curiosity killed the cat perfect egg.

I could tell that instantly she was shocked it had broken and that she felt bad for breaking it.

What I wasn't expecting was how shocked (and mad) she really was.

She kept saying over and over,

 "There is no baby bird in there! There is just an egg in there!

  You said that was a baby bird egg!  But that is just an egg egg!

We heart Alabama.

Our hearts our heavy with the tragic losses in the Alabama tornadoes last week.

Our hearts our full of thanksgiving for all those who are safe, including our family and friends there.

Our hearts will continue to pray and lift up all those who suffering

and all those who are working so hard to help.

24 hour visit = very FULL Easter

We spent Easter with family.

The side of the family that has 10 grandchildren under the age of 8.

which means our Easter included lots of laughter,

And popscicle breaks.

It included funny games like "Meet Mr. Wolfe,"

and lots of squealing,

lots of funny faces,

and squishy cheeks for kissing.

Our Easter included egg hunts,

the cutest butterflies ever,

and a few (hundred) pieces of candy.

It included lots of precious memories, joy, thanksgiving,

beauty, happiness, blessings,

and LOVE.

He is risen!  He is risen indeed!

I love Spring

All the colors,

All the surprises,

All the treasures,

All the new beginnings,

All the life.

I love Spring.

First slumber party

Ellenie had pajama day at school!

La La was so excited too.

She loved every minute of getting to lay on the floor,

 with her Pillow Pet, eat popcorn, and watch a movie with her friends.

What a big girl!  Where is my baby?

Exciting, fun visit

We got a new pet!

A cute, little coyote!

The girls would have loved to take this large, stuffed animal home but 

a new pet should be alive...

So we decided on a snake?!

No way!  We just visited these interesting animals with Dandy & Wil on our recent visit to see them.

How cool is this?!

This sharp dresser thought Lillianna's hat (love an April cold snap!) was bright and colorful too.

Lillianna couldn't get over seeing all the animals poop.  Here she is describing the Rhino's.

Love this sweet girl in the beautiful field.

Little bonding time with Dandy, I mean, the gorillas.

Ellen just might be a Gorilla Whisperer.

My girls are driving their own space ship bumper cars!

There is never a dull moment when we are with Dandy & Wil.

They may be best friends...but they still play like sisters.
