Spring is here!

Hearing that it was supposed to get cold...hard to believe that day last week when it was 88 degrees...we got outside to enjoy the pretty flowers in the yard.

Then we went over to Delano Park to meet up with our friends Abby and 1 month old Maggie.

What havn't we been up to lately....

Then one hot day we romped in the backyard hose

She, Elmo, and Bear Bear have enjoyed MANY wagon rides

And Brad and I continue to be amazed at the joy she brings to the small moments of each day

Redneck Riviera

A little earlier today I decided to take Lillianna on a walk on a trail that we used to stroll on all the time last summer. This is the first time since last fall that we've been and when we got around the first curve of the trail...a line of trees had been cleared and lo' and behold there was a BEACH in DECATUR! A brown, muddy beach with green (probably toxic) foam marking the tide. It was such a beautiful and inviting site that I quickly scooped Lillianna up and headed for our new vacation spot. I was so very, very glad taht I had brought my camera in a grocery sack because I got some of the most precious pictures. We had so much fun that we had to stop and call Dada just to say that we wished he had been there with us. By the time we left, Lillianna was bare bottomed and I was covered in mud. We are definitely going back soon! (We'll just bring our lake suits next time!)

This past weekend we had the treat of visiting our favorite cousins in Collierville!

Lillianna was so excited to see Ella, Daisy, Leah, and our course her baby cousin Bentley.

Here, Lillianna joined the welcoming committee that was there to greet us...

Uncle Brad played traffic cop, giving Ella "tickets" and then racing the two cars.

While the boys took one for the team and played a round of golf on Saturday...Kelsey and I took the entire team to the zoo. We were a small zoo walking/running/strolling/crying/dragging through the zoo...but we all had ALOT of fun!
